Our Mission
During the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shas Hadchak initiative was born. Our aim was simple: to unite כלל ישראל in learning. It became a pioneering ש״ס מחולק initiative, motivating thousands to complete the entire ש”ס collectively, at times, in just a day, harnessing the כח התורה to manifest remarkable ישועות for כלל ישראל during a שעת הדחק.
How We Began
In March 2020, we began humbly. With yeshivas and batei medrashim closed and people isolated in their homes, we reached out through mass texts using flip phones. The enthusiastic response was both overwhelming and unexpected.
Building on that energy, we embarked on a series of more organized and impactful campaigns.
Our Campaigns Through the Years
One Nation. One Night. One Shas (Shavuos 2020)
With an established website and texting platform for those without internet access, this campaign became our first large-scale initiative. Rallying 2711 learners to finish Shas on Shavuos night from their own homes, all while Shuls were closed due to the pandemic.
Harav Dovid Feinstein Shlita’s (July 2020)
In response to Harav Dovid Feinstein Shlita’s critical health condition and with guidance from R’ Chaim Kanievsky Shlita, we set a goal to finish Maseches Brachos 100 times as a Zechus for Reb Dovid Ben Shima.
The Pages Will Never Close (Simchas Torah 2021)
As another COVID wave loomed in Elul 2021, threatening to close our Yeshivas, we took a stand, using the power of Torah as a Zechus to protect our Yeshivas.
Rav Dovid Feinstein ZT”L’s Sheloshim
After his passing, learners united for a Siyum Leilu Neshamoso, in time for Rav Dovid Feinstein ZT”L’s Sheloshim, Parshas Vayishlach.
Meron Tragedy (2021)
Collaborating with Agudas Yisroel of America, we initiated a cycle of Shas in the face of the heart-wrenching Meron incident in memory of the victims.
One Daf for One Neshama (Shavuos 2021)
This campaign was an homage to those we tragically lost to COVID.
Who Will Finish It This Year? Rav Chaim Kanievsky ZT”L Sheloshim (Erev Pesach 2022)
Embracing the legacy of Rav Chaim Kanievsky ztl and his annual Siyum Hashas on Erev Pesach, we rallied learners to finish Shas in just under two weeks. The Siyum was led by Rav Shlomo Kanievsky on Rav Chaim Ztl’s Shloshim Erev Pesach Click Here to watch the Siyum.

Promoting Limud Hatorah during Chanukah, learners stood a chance to win a trip to Eretz Yisroel for every Daf they learned.
Rav Chaim Kanievsky ZT”L Yahrzeit (Shushan Purim 2023)
A year since the passing of Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt”l, and endorsed by Rav Shlomo Kanievsky Shlita, we rallied learners to finish Shas Leilu Nishmas Rav Chaim zt”l. A Siyum Hashas was organized in Rav Shlomo’s home on Shushan Purim 5783, marking Rav Chaim’s Yahrzeit. Click Here to watch the Siyum.
War in Eretz Yisroel Oct 2023
Moments after the war in Gaza began, Shas Hadchak was galvanized to complete Shas in under three weeks. The siyum was held in the home of Rabbi Nosson Scherman.
